Welcome to Cattle Dog Ranch & Equine Facility
Pictures of Ruby, Zeke and Pepper working sheep. This bottom picture is of Mandy at 3 months old meeting sheep for the first time.
We have a 20 acre farm located in the beautiful foothills of Western Maine. For those who board horses, we have trails on our property if you want to take a short ride. There are many other trails within walking distance of our farm from which you can see both the White Mountains of New Hampshire plus Maine's mountain range. You may also encounter wildlife such as deer and wild turkey. Moose have also been seen near those trails. We also have a 60 foot round pen for your use.
Additionally we breed Australian Cattle Dogs and have 3-4 litters per year. Our litters are both CKC registered and non-registered. We breed working quality dogs and the majority of our pup have gone to working farms throughout New England. Our dogs have also been sold to very active families and you may see one of our dogs ( and owner) hiking on any of the many mountains and hills in New England. Some of our pups have frequently visited the cool water of the Atlantic Ocean. You may also see some of dogs going on bike rides with their owners using the "Springer" on their bikes. Some of our dogs are larger than other cattle dogs but they work very well and most farmers in this area prefer the larger cattle dog. The pups are handled daily in a home environment. They go outside daily depending on their age and weather.
We hope you enjoy our site and you also find us on facebook.com/cattledogranch and equine facility or Twitter. Please feel free to call or visit.
